The spy in our midst

Green moon.

* So, the United States government has all but let loose the flying monkeys on its citizens. They're collecting our phone data. They're tracking our internet movements. They're reading our credit card purchases. And who knows what else.

This is wrong and despicable and must be stopped. Run-away government cannot be tolerated and should be fought to the highest levels.

At the risk of sounding trite, I just want to say what I tell my right-wing friends when they air their complaints about the president and the government, whether real or not (i.e., they're going to take our guns; they're going to break down our doors and haul us away at gun point if we don't pay our taxes; and more): WE ARE THE GOVERNMENT.

We should also consider the possibility that this is all just a huge cover for something worse that's going on. Someone we don't know about and may never know about. A grand diversion. More at another time.
