So very lonely

Three windows, archway.

* Treed.

* There have been many times when I've hopped onto the Lincoln Highway in Illinois and Indiana. Some of those times were intentional and some not. A lot of those times were delightful and amazing. Other times I didn't even know where I was. But, all of those times, unlike the interstate highway system, and if you can just make it to the next intersection, whether you're going the super-fast 50 miles an hour, or the more than likely just inching along, each mile is a sight to behold, and rarely lonely.

* Happy 100th birthday to the Lincoln Highway.

* Map of the Lincoln Highway from Times Square to San Francisco.

* The Lincoln Highway intersection (street view) where I always manage to find myself, whether in real life or in my dreams.

* You're a thousand light years from home....
