State Capitol at night

Statehouse, Second and Capitol, Springfield, Illinois.

Sometime this weekend, they're going to turn off the outside lights of the Capitol and turn on the Christmas lights. Maybe tomorrow. Or maybe it was tonight.

In the second shot, it looks like Abe's shadow is stepping away from him.

Great pics. Love the second one. Which is the shadow? The one on the left appears more lifelike but the one on the right appears closer to the camera and I don't know how that could be.

I believe the one on the left is the shadow.

You appear to enjoy the same success that your daughter does with night photography.

Nice, clear photo of the State Capitol Building.

Which state is that?

Actually it's the one on the right that's the real deal.

This must be in Illinois :)
