The lucky guy driving this truck has one of those cream puff jobs the rest of us can only dream about: watering the highway. Photo courtesy of Laura.

* My grandson. If I had one.

* This reporter always gets her story. And then some. (Thanks, Rich.)

* Kim came to Harvard Park Grade School in the fourth grade and, fortunately for me, they put her in my class. She was bright and vivacious and like no one we'd ever known before. We went all through the rest of our school days together. Knowing her made us all better people. To her family, my sincere condolences.

* From sometime in 4th grade: Cherish.
