Remember what we said and done and felt

Somewhere above the world.

* As someone who was raised by an elitist bass (also crappie and bluegill, but whatever) fisherman, I could never eat any kind of carp. I guess that means I'll starve, if it's the last food on earth, which it probably will be someday.

* About each other.

"Eat, Marie, eat. It's, um, freshwater cod. Yeah, freshwater cod." Haha. Will you eat catfish?

That bit about calling it "Kentucky tuna" cracked me up. Up here we call bullheads "Iowa walleye." :)

For the record, I'll try it sometime, given the description compared to our run of the mill carp. And no, I've never had carp either.

I have actually eaten quite a bit of catfish in my time, but not for years. Please don't tell me it's in the same family as carp, which we call simply, "bottom feeders" here.

Nope, don't think the same family as carp. Nothing to see here. Move along.
