I went looking for a cause

Spotted this fine specimen of a boat in a used car lot.

* Dear people who will say anything to get President Obama out of the White House: Stop saying Obama killed coal or is killing coal. Not true.

Coal is coming out of the ground in Sangamon County for the first time in nearly half a century.
A 5.5-mile overland conveyor belt that was two years and $20 million in the making has begun carrying coal from a portal near Williamsville, in northern Sangamon County, to the Viper Mine preparation plant near Elkhart, in southern Logan County.
The conveyor belt has capacity for 26,000 tons of raw coal a day, said Arch Coal spokeswoman Kim Link. Most of the coal is bound for City Water, Light & Power in Springfield. Construction of the new shaft is expected to extend the life of Viper Mine by at least 20 years, according to the company. CWLP has a contract through 2020 for 1.4 million tons of coal annually.
The Long Haul: Viper Mine conveyor carries coal 5.5 miles

Great train video, and more on his channel. I should have been a train engineer.

Oh, Dave, I love trains. I could listen to them all night. Actually, I do, sort of. Train engineer would be a great job.

The light in that video is just beautiful. And it's beautifully shot, too--two cameras, etc. Thanks for posting that.
